Delve into the scientific and special world of sculpture. Middle school students learn about sculptural materials, techniques and technology’s role in the sculptural process. In-gallery model building, mini-experiments and kinesthetic extensions bring the DAI’s 3D works to life on this tour.
Optional studio workshop ($7.00 per student):
Hammer, carve and design repousse artwork using metal embossing techniques inspired by your visit.
60 minutes long. Recommended for Grades 3-5.
